The Kid’s Power of Produce Program gives children their own role in the farmers market experience. It is a fun, hands-on way for kids to learn about fresh food, make their own choices, and take pride in supporting local farms.

Each week, kids can stop by the Info Booth to receive a $3 voucher to spend on fresh produce at the market. Families can also take part in our weekly scavenger hunt and prize activity, adding another layer of fun and discovery to market day.

Kid’s POP helps children build healthy habits early, encourages purchases of produce from local farmers, and helps grow the next generation of farmers market shoppers. It is one of the ways KCM invests in both food education and community connection.
